Rules [Must Read]

• First off, our word limit. Senseless is a somewhat literate role-play site that enjoys it's writers. The minimum to a post IN CHARACTER must be at least 150. This allows for you to access all other points in the character, from what they notice, smell, hear, taste, think and so on. There is even a word counter attached to the posts that are suppose to be IN CHARACTER. If you do not see the word counter, then the board must be OOC.
  
• We ask that you try to keep the outline for the creation the same as what is posted for you. This makes it much easier for staff to go through and make sure things are up to minimal standards before your character is accepted and is free to join the world.
  
• Being polite, or nice, to other members and staff is a huge must. If we find that you are not being respectful of members and staff alike, you will receive high warnings two or three times (depending on the severity of your doings) before your accounts are either frozen or deleted.
  
• Being more of the advanced side, we do not like to see too much if any god-modding or power playing. It is acceptable here and there if the other player has given you the ok. But if it is in all your posts, warnings will be given.
  
• Spelling here at Senseless is a BIG thing. We do understand that some words can be a bit difficult to spell right off the hand, but that is ok. Long as we know what you mean, all will be fine. But it is suggested to try and fix it as soon as you can if possible. Do not try to sneak in text like coding such as u (you), r (are) and other shortened or abbreviated words. Those will just make the posts look tacky and will tack away the hopeful value to the site. Those, you will receive messages from staff for if they are caught. Now, if it was in a part of a text message from one person to another via cell phone, then it is understandable. Just italicize it with quotation marks.
  
• Liquid time is accepted to a certain degree. If you try to play a character younger than their current age, or much older than their current age, then it is not allowed. We count liquid time as if it is days apart, not months to years from the current time.
  
• Starting Character accounts allowed upon joining is 5. Your first 3 are absolutely free, the fourth and fifth ones after one month and two month marks of activity. This is to allow you to be able to know the site, the rules, and  get use to being active among the site.
  
• Tables and signatures must be kept to their proper lengths so that they do not stretch the pages. If they stretch the pages, we will send you a message and ask that you resize them so that they no longer stretch.
  
• When it comes to harsh language and anything too graphic, it must be kept to a minimum. That means no drugs, sex and other things that fall along those lines. If it is in the rules upon joining proboards, we suggest not putting them here. If it is a must here and there, a warning must be placed on the THREAD TITLE. But please, do not take it too far. We do not like to see the site get erased for such foolishness.

• For every character you have, there will be that many accounts, meaning you will have 3 (three) accounts for three characters, not including your OOC account (optional), which should be one of the first 2 (two) you create.
  
• After your first free set, all other accounts can be purchased through the shop or can be gained via site-wide activities.
  
• Activity checks will be random among Senseless. When they do arrive, it is wise to post in them with your OOC accounts, tagging (preferred), or listing your characters. If you do not post, without any absence thread up, then all your accounts will be deleted. If they are deleted and you wish to bring them back, you can do so and start from the beginning again. Which means that their account will have to be remade and their biographies reposted.

• Tagging is advised when posting with another. This allows them to know when it is their turn in the thread again, and things can move smoothly.
  
• If more than one person is in a thread, rotate through the list of people participating so no one really feels left out. So by the time you should post again, it should look like this: Person 1, Person 2, Person 3, Person 1, Person 2, Person 3 and so forth. It will give others the chance to react to the previous posts without getting left out and being set off to the side. Include all that are in that thread.
  
• Remember, the word count minimum is 150. This does not mean you can not go any higher, in fact, we suggest trying to evolve and expand your writing so that others can know what your character is going through.
• All posts IN CHARACTER should be in the proper boards, and all OOC activities should be in their proper boards as well.
• Rent is fairly easy to understand. It is #5 every new season (only #20 being pulled in a single year from a single character). This can be taken at any time in that season, or you can request it to be removed by the Admin at the beginning of the year. Do not let this bother you. I can promise you that you will very easily be able to regain those points. (The Point system is explained better below.)

• Shifters are unknown to many humans, very few knowing of them. This means that they are not allowed to roam around town in their creature forms.
  
• Shifters can roam in whatever form they wish outside of the town areas, but can not change in front of a human unless that human already knows of the shifters that live in the world around them.
  
• Each Pack and Clan have their own rules, so every rule their members break, must be up to the leaders.
• A single Pack or Clan can have as many areas as they want, long as the land touch and expansions have been bought. Before the Pack/Clan is bought, the leaders and founding members must have a thread up in Registration with the needed information. In order for one to be registered, there must be five (5) founding members, including a leader.
• For certain named ranks, an items must be bought, or everything will be set to the standard Pack/Clan ranks.

Point System

• With every post you make, you will receive a minimum of #3.
  
• I have kept the bank open for you all to hold your extra points with a 3% interest rate, which in time can become quite a bit that adds up.
  
• Earning your points is easy. Just post! With your first IC post made, is when you will see your first points. After that, everything can be history. Remember though, in order to buy anything, you need the needed posts and the shop has been set up to make it easy to access and still convince members to post.

• If you will be absent for more than two weeks, please set up an absence thread, letting us know so we do not randomly delete your accounts or put them up for adoption by accident!
  
• No fighting, no swearing, and no "looking down" on each other in the chat box, or I WILL remove it.
  
• You are not required to take part in site-wide activities, other than Activity Checks. If you are able to part-take in the activities, then feel free to with no pressure! When one is to arrive, everyone will know with an announcement.
